When is the Fortnite Chapter 2 ‘The End’ live event?

The clock is ticking down on Fortnite’s Chapter 2 with ‘The End’ live event starting this weekend.

Fortnites Chapter 2 live event starts at Saturday, December 4 at 16:00 EST – it is 13:00 PT and 21:00 GMT for the rest of us – but read on for the kick off in each region and an overview of what to expect from the event!

Our brave heroes from any franchise under the sun will face the Cube Queen in a showpiece finale like no other.

The End is coming soon and you would like to spend some time in your schedule if you want to see what Epic has in store for the end of the season. It only happens once and there is no going back to see what you missed. Be sure to redeem your Battle Stars and use these bars in advance as well. No point in letting hard-won prey go to waste.

What are the start times for the Fortnite ‘The End’ live event in each region?

The End goes live on December 4th. But unlike Fortnite’s concerts, this is a one-time event. There’s no going back if you miss it, and Epic will not offer iterations.

If you need to record the live event, Epic recommends having your software set up before the event starts, as there is no way to get recordings afterwards.

You should arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of time to secure a seat – the servers WILL be full!

How do I watch Fortnite Chapter 2 ‘The End’ Live Event?

Before The End live event, a special watch playlist will be added to Fortnite. This is to avoid the grief that took place during previous live events where vicious players would wait until the action was just about to begin before blowing up everyone who watched.

The watch playlist opens 30 minutes before the event starts. You have the option to select the playlist when you log in, and that’s all you need to do to see the event.

As with Operation Skyfire, we recommend that you jump in early so there is no chance of missing anything. The End supports parties of up to 16 players if you want a whole group.

Anyone who logs in before the event starts will receive 225,000 XP as a reward for the season ending a day earlier than usual.

What is going to happen during the Fortnite live event?

Epic did not mention how long The End live event will last. Previous chapter ending missions, however, were about half an hour long, though this one could run longer as it ends the entire season.

The Fortnite team has apparently cracked down on leaks and does not reveal much about what to expect. We know there’s a confrontation between you and Cube Queen, and your goal is to deal with Sideways corruption. That’s it though.

However, make sure you have done everything you need to in the current season before the event starts. Quests from quest packages are transferred to season 3, but not much else will. Any unused Battle Stars will be redeemed automatically, but items to unlock Toona Fish styles will not be. Cube Queen and other chapter-specific quests will also expire, as will your unused bars.

As for what’s on the horizon after The End, there have been a few Fortnite Chapter 3 leaks to think about.

But while there is still a lot of uncertainty about what to expect in Fortnite Chapter 3, you can at least comfort yourself by starting the chapter as Naruto, finally. There is also a Riot and Fortnite collaboration to take advantage of, though it’s not just the island that changes in Chapter 3. Another part of Fortnite will never be the same again either.
