Meydan e Sorkh is the first series that Ebrahim Ebrahimian enters the home theater network as a director.

Javad Nowruzbeigi accompanies him as producer and Saeed Safarpour as leader of the project. The authors of this series are Sara Soltani and Ali Masoudinia.

Ebrahim Ebrahimian has the films “Ersaal e Agahi Tasliat Baraye Roozname”, “Aadat Nemikonim”, “Pilot” and “Dubland” in his repertoire, and this would be the first series he will direct in collaboration with Iranian famous actors in another genre .

In this series, Hamid Farrokhnejad, Mahtab Keramati, Bahram Afshari, Ali Mosafa, Amir Hossein Arman, Kazem Siyahi, Massoud Keramati, Omid Rouhani, Behdokht Valian, Armin Rahimian and Sahar Nezamdoost have appeared.

Hamid Farrokhnejad returned to the home theater network after starring in the series “Ghalbe Yakhi” after about 10 years. He started his acting career with Khosrow Sinaei in “Aroos e Atash” and has appeared in successful projects since the 20s.

Mahtab Keramati studied acting in 1375 with Amin Tarokh. She also has a microbiological education. She went on television in 1376 to play the role of Helen in “Mardan e Angeles”, alongside Jafar Dehghan as Maximilianos. The film “Mardi Az Jens e Bolur” (1377) was her first appearance in the cinema, and 1380-1381 she appeared in plays directed by Majid Jafari. Keramati has starred in a number of drama and historical films.

Her most famous roles include Asia in “Alzheimer’s” (1389), Ava in “Zendegi e Khosusi e Agha va Khanom e Mim” (1390), “Roya e Farzand e Chaharom” (1391), Sara in “Ashbah” (1392) ), Monire in “Asr e Yakhbandan” (1393), the mother in “Majan” (1393) and Minoo in “Jadde Ghadim” (2017). She has also played the role of Firoozeh in “Bist” (1387), for which she won the Simorgh Bolurin Award for Best Supporting Actress at the 27th Fajr Film Festival

One of her most memorable roles in television, after Helen in “Mardan e Angeles” (1376), is the character of Liyali, who played alongside Parviz Parastooyi in the “Khak e Sorkh” (1379-1380) series directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia. Her other notable performances have been in “Padash e Sokut” (1385), “Tardid” (1387), “Asb Heyvan e Najibi Ast” (1390), “Naakhaaste” (1392), “Arghavan” (1393) and “Mazar -e-Sharif. ”(1393) She also starred in“ Mard e Barani ”(1378), for which she was nominated for Best Actress at the 18th Fajr Film Festival.

“Meydan e Sorkh” is Mahtab Keramati’s latest appearance on the home theater network after “Raghs Rooye Shishe”.

Amir Hossein Arman, a young and popular actor who had previously attracted a large audience in “Mannequin”, is now trying to recreate his past successes by appearing in “Meydan e Sorkh”. His first acting experience was officially in “Ezdevaj Be Sabke Irani” directed by Hassan Fathi in 1383. After this experience, Amir Hossein starred in Arman in several films, among which he showed his brilliance more than ever in “Sad Sal Be In Salha”.

He then continued his career in cinema with films such as “Dar Emtedad e Shahr”, “Ye Habbe Ghand”, “Nazanin”, “Shift e Shab” and … Then he continued his activity in cinema with films such as Along the City, A Sugar Cube, Nazanin, Night Shift and Finally, he became famous by appearing in “Kimia” directed by Javad Afshar and “Pariya” directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh.

Bahram Afshari (born Khordad 6, 1366) is a film, theater and television actor. His first TV appearance was in “Paytakht 2”, where he appeared as a guest actor, but in “Paytakht 5” and “Paytakht 6” he had a more prominent presence. Afshari had appeared in “Del” before playing in “Serial Meydan SorkhAnd now, after many admirable achievements in the comedy genre, this time he plays a serious role.

Farzad Farzin is the singer of the show. A popular singer who has previously produced songs for “Mannequin” and “Asheghaneh”, and has appeared in several series as an actor, which has attracted a large audience to himself.

Reza Yazdani, a popular rock singer, also plays in this series, which is one of the surprises in “Meydan e Sorkh”.

Sara Soltani and Ali Masoudinia are the authors of this series. The teasers from the movie “Aadat Nemikonim” (1395) by Ebrahimian were broadcast on satellite channels. Therefore, the public prosecutor in Tehran issued an order to stop the showing of this film. However, following attempts by the head of the cinema organization, the deputy prosecutor announced in a letter to Hojjatullah Ayoubi that the screening of this film will continue.
