Peaky Blinders teases series 6 release date
It is official: Peaky Blinders season six is on its way and it will not be long before we get to see it, according to the latest announcement.
That Peaky Blinders Twitter account posted one tweet the series will return “early” next year along with a video showing Cillian Murphy back in her Tommy Shelby coat and cap walking down a dark, cobbled street with a large bag in hand.
The tweet had the caption: “#PeakyBlinder’s Series 6. Early in 2022, on @BBCOne and @BBCiPlayer.”

Back to the summer, Conrad Khan – who’s in it Peaky Blinders for series six – hinted that the sixth and final season was not too far away, and even wondered if we could watch it in February.
Khan, who has participated in the show for this latest series told Radio Times: “It comes from what I last heard – I mean, these things are changing so fast – I think it’s going to come out next February, the beginning of next year,” he explained.
“There were so many footage, so many episodes, that it takes a while to edit – six months or so.”
After the last series, there will be a film that ends the story of Tommy Shelby and the family, which will go into production in 2023.

Drama creator Steven Knight revealed during a panel at the BFI London Film Festival last month that there is a plan, now the editing of the final series is almost complete.
“And then I will write the feature, which will be inserted and recorded in Birmingham.
“It’s probably going to be the end of the road Peaky Blinders as we know it. “
