The Batgirl villain goes to Brendan Fraser as the HBO Max feature takes shape

Brendanssiance continues! If you’re looking for a promising Batgirl villain, why not cast Brendan Fraser? Fan favorite star of Encino mand, Whisper from the past, and The mummy franchise has been cast as the villain in Warner Bridge’s latest DCEU project, Bat girl. Set to debut on HBO Max, on Bat girl the film will set Fraser against Leslie Grace, who portrays Barbara Gordon in the film. Rumor has it that Fraser may be playing Firefly, but that has not been confirmed at this time.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the instructors behind Bad Boys for Life, is put at the helm Bat girl movies written by Birds of prey screenwriter Christina Hodson and debuts on HBO Max.
Fraser is currently playing on another HBO MAX / DC series, Doom Patrol. This marks his biggest profile project since the 2010s Furry Revenge. Over the past decade, Fraser has been referred to supporting roles and television concerts, but his career has seen an increase over the past few years with a role in Steven Soderbergh’s No sudden pull and His Doom Patrol turn like Robotman. Bat girl adds to Fraser’s upcoming slate, which also includes Darren Aronofsky’s The whale and Martin Scorseses Killers of the Flower Moon.
