Zendaya and Tom Holland talk about their relationship

For years, the romantic relationship between Tom Holland and Zendaya has been a big question mark for fans who have been dying to know if the two are a legal couple. Many believed the dating rumors were true after being seen sharing a passionate kiss at a red light this summer, but their official status has not yet been confirmed. According to Tom, he felt that the viral image of the two kissing took their chance to be the first to talk about their relationship. During a recent interview with GQ, that Spider-Man: No Way Home star opened up about his privacy and his relationship with his teammate.

“One of the disadvantages of our fame is that privacy is no longer in our control, and a moment that you think is between two people who love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the whole world,” Tom said, adding: “I’ve always been really determined to keep my privacy private because I still share so much of my life with the world. We kind of felt robbed of our privacy.” Tom also revealed that it was not at all something any of them would do to announce their relationship with the world, saying that he “[respects] her too much “to talk about their romance alone.

Zendaya later called in via a phone call, saying the situation was “quite strange and strange and confusing and invasive.” She added: “The right mood [we both share] is just that when you truly love and care about someone, some moments or things, you wish were your own. . . . I believe that loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy among the two people who love each other. “

Aside from their romance, Tom hurried to find camaraderie among his Spider-Man players Jacob Batalon and – of course – Zendaya. He even said that the latter played a key role controlling his new reality. “Having her in my life was so conducive to my reason,” he said. “She’s so good at being a role model for young guys and girls. When someone comes up like ‘May I have a picture?’, It’s never a bad time. Whereas my first reaction was, ‘Why are you talking to me? Leave me alone.'”

Both actors hope to continue to keep their privacy a secret until they feel it’s time to talk further, whether they are romantically involved or not. “This is not my story. This is our story,” Tom said. “And we talk about what it is when we’re ready to talk about it together.”
