A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in East Oakland Saturday night, authorities said.

The teenager, whose name has not been released, was found with multiple gunshot wounds around noon. 20.19 Saturday in the 3900 block of Carrington Street, a primary residential area, police said.

He lived in Oakland, but police have not said whether he lived in the area of ​​the shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
