Lil Baby reportedly spends thousands on Saweetie during a shopping trip in NYC

It may be time to prepare a celebrity couple name for rap stars Sweetheart and Lil Baby!

Hollywood Unlocked recently reported that the couple was seen together in NYC. According to the media, the 26-year-old Lil Baby, born Dominique Jones, took 28-year-old Sweetheart, born Diamonté Harper, on a shopping trip at a New York-based Chanel store. Reportedly, Lil Baby dropped almost $ 100K on Sweetheart during their date. There are reportedly also security footage from the Chanel store of the rappers’ time together.

It’s no surprise that their alleged date took place in NYC. Sweetheart was recently in town for her debut SNL musical appearance, and it looks like she then stuck around so she could perform at the Powerhouse in New Jersey, which took place this past weekend. Lil Baby was also present at the Powerhouse and also hit the stage.

It is unclear whether Sweetheart and Lil Baby is officially a couple or not. But if they are, they seem to be trying to keep things down and are not currently following each other on Instagram.

As previously reported, Sweetheart was once romantically linked to Migos rapper Quavo, 30, and they dated for over 2 years. But last March, they decided to cancel things and go their separate ways. Sweetheart shared recently in an interview that she is ready to become a mother and have a child. She said,

“I want a baby.”

She continued,

“I’m just ready. I’m getting older. I’m not hiding my age like, I’m getting older and I want a baby.”

She added,

“Let’s be right. I want to throw that shit out and I want to snatch back.”

Lil Baby has been in an on-again-off-again relationship with the mother of her child / media influencer Jayda Cheaves, 24, for years. Their most recent breakup took place in February this year.
