After last year’s markedly scaled-down parade due to COVID-19, this year’s lineup will feature 15 giant character balloons and 28 floats, including a giant Grogu from Disney’s The Mandalorian and Ada Twist from Netflix’s Ada Twist, Scientist.

2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Livestream Channels

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of the big TV events on Thanksgiving (although there are some great Thanksgiving TV alternatives if you want to fill your day), with a great selection of artists, floats and balloons of popular TV and movie characters.

Another special aspect of this year’s parade is that after a year away, the audience will once again be allowed to stand along the parade route in New York City.

Telemundo

Telemundo will simulcast a Spanish-language broadcast of the parade in all time zones starting at. 9.00 ET. Check local listings to see if and where Telemundo is located in your channel line, or visit Telemundo’s official site.

While NBC is the official broadcast network for the parade, CBS is also getting into the action; they just do not call it Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Officially billed as The Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS, the network’s coverage will also be available on traditional pay-TV services, with TV antennas as well as on select live TV streaming services, including FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV and YouTube TV.

Viewers will also be able to stream the parade. For NBC’s coverage, viewers wishing to livestream Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade must sign up for Peacock Premium.

Similarly, if you want to stream CBS coverage, viewers must have access to Paramount Plus Premium, which provides access to the subscriber’s local CBS station.

NBC

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins at 9.00 and ends at. 12.00 in all time zones. Typically during the three-hour event, bands from across the country, Broadway artists and musical guests make their way through the 2.5-mile stretch of Macy’s signature floats.

As always, spectators can expect to see giant character balloons, floats, street performers and of course Santa Claus. NBC is the official broadcaster of the parade, but CBS will also broadcast the parade on their network.

Where to stream Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: The parade will be available for streaming on Peacock, as well as Paramount + and streaming platforms offering live TV services such as Hulu.

In addition, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with the reopening of Broadway in New York will feature cast from a number of Broadway musicals performing, including Six the Musical, Red Mill!, and Evil. There will also be a performance from the cast of Annie Live!, which airs on NBC on December 2nd.

There will also be special performances from the Ballet Hispánico, Big Apple Circus, Jumpers United for Macy’s Parade (JUMP), Spirit of America Dance Stars, Spirit of America Cheer and, as tradition believes, Rockettes.

The 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature 15 giant character balloons, 28 floats, 36 new inflatables, more than 800 clowns, 10 marching bands with nine performance groups, a host of musical stars and Santa Claus.
