Thanksgiving is a day on the beach - literally - for young Liberians. Above, the beach at West Point is a sandy beach for football lovers.

It’s definitely not a turkey day. Jollof rice is more like it. It is questioned as a vacation because of its American origins. And the way Liberians celebrate has lessons for the United States
