Epic Games Store has announced the next titles offered to its users for free – from Thursday, December 2, EGS users will be able to pack themselves bloodthirsty multiplayer horror titles Death by daylight and at the opposite end of the spectrum, the esoteric and stylistic puzzle while True: leather (). Strange bedmates, actually.
Developed by Bohemia Interactive and originally released back in 2016, Death by daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer title that challenges a group of unhappy survivors to use quick wit and adaptation to be one step ahead of an evil killer, played with bloody joy by another lucky player. Available on a wide range of platforms, Death by daylight has entertained its dedicated fanbase for many years, and has crossed over with a who’s who of legendary horror IPs, including Halloween, Saw, Hellraiser, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Stranger Things, Scream, The Evil Dead, Silent Hill, and many more – while offering its own rogue gallery of wild-eyed lunatics and steel-nosed survivors.
while it’s true: learn () is a quiet and modest puzzle developed by Luden.io and released on PC and consoles in 2019. With the theme of artificial intelligence, the player sits at the desk of an ingenious scientist with an even more ingenious cat companion. The goal of this super-scientific duo is to create a cat-to-human translation unit that solves all sorts of complex logical puzzles, difficult number networks and building algorithms to cross the ultimate line of communication. As you evolve, you will be rewarded with money to advance your experiments and reward your cat friend. Interestingly enough, while it’s true: learn () also provides an insight into the true science of AI systems. So there’s a little education in there. Do not let that deter you!
Both Death by daylight and While it’s true: learn () is able to download from the Epic Games Store from December 2nd. The current free offers, Antstream Arcade Welcome Pack and theHunter: Call of the Wild, stay free until then.
