A 5-year-old was fatally shot accidentally on Thanksgiving Day by a teenager in Minnesota who recorded a video of posting on social media with a group of four or five children during a family reunion, according to local police.
Police responded to a shooting around 10:20 a.m. Thursday on Florida Avenue, where they found a child dead at the scene, the Brooklyn Park Police Department said Friday in a statement. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 13-year-old boy had shot the child when he and “several” other children recorded “a video on social media”, according to police.

The teenage shooter who shot “accidentally” was arrested and is being held in Hennepin County juvenile jail.
