5 completely unique Marvel characters we would love to see on the big screen

After the 2014s Guardians of the Galaxy proved that anyone can be a movie hero⏤self from the strangest origins⏤here are some others incredibly unique Marvel characters we would love to see take the leap from the comic book page to the big screen.
Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur

Luna Lafayette / Moon Girl is a recent addition to the Marvel mythos, a young genius. Nine years old and potentially the most intelligent person in the universe, Lafayette is an inhuman with a bond to a dinosaur known as the Devil Dinosaur: a giant red Tyrannosaurus rex.
Lafayette’s inhuman superpower is telepathic connections, and with that link she is able to command and communicate with Devil Dinosaur. But with the very poor reception to Inhuman TV show in 2017, it is fair to say that Moon Girl is unlikely to be linked to Black Bolt or Medusa.
The duo is set to appear in an eponymous animated show on the Disney Channel in 2022.
Fin Fang Foom

He’s a giant dragon. Huge. Pull on.
Originating before the birth of Marvel Comics as we know the company now, Foom was a Stan Lee and Jack Kirby joint. Lee had been inspired by the 1934 film adaptation of the stage musical Chu Chin Chow, which he had seen as a child. The name Chu Chin Chow stuck to him, and Lee thought it was a strong name for a monstrous character.
Foom has regularly appeared as an enemy of Iron Man, but his first super fight was against It! The Living Colossus (real name, full title) anden another obscure Marvel creation before the superhero era.
Shang-Chi’s The Great Protector has illustrated Marvel’s willingness to make live-action kites, and while a kite walking on its hind legs could be strange if there is time to do so, it is now.
Human things

One of the most challenging and obscure parts of the Marvel universe is Man-Thing. He is a mix of deep philosophy, cosmic Marvel and trippy 1970s art.
The landmark work, a 36-issue run by Steve Gerber, achieved a cult following years after its release. Modern experiments on Man-Thing in Marvel multimedia have been … challenging.
Writers are not entirely sure whether to turn him into a comic relief or a terrifying monster. With the mysterious and cosmic side of the MCU now opened up, it would be immensely interesting to see a new version of the character. With Disney Plus and Marvel Studios scheduled to release three animated series, what better time to roll the dice?
Hellcow

Bessie, otherwise known as Hellcow, is a vampire cow who first appeared in Steve Gerber’s aforementioned 1970s Human things series. Gerber’s story of making classic cult figures continues here, as Hellcow is particularly unique. Hellcow, which is capable of producing vampire milk, is an immortal cow that can fly, change shape and has super strength and agility.
Hellcow most recently appeared alongside Deadpool in a 2011 comedic team-up, so maybe the upcoming one Deadpool 3 be able to introduce the cattle in an appropriately high steaks manner. But I would remain optimistic about such a look.
Swarm
This is a personal favorite, a real classic within the comic book subgenre. Fritz von Meyer is a former Nazi scientist who has bound himself to himself with a swarm of bees (see where did he get his name from?). After the war, he escaped arrest for his war crimes and did what every Nazi did: flee to South America to become a beekeeper. Long story short, he is made of bees.
IN WandaVision, many had wondered that the mysterious beekeeper introduced in episode 2 was actually Fritz von Meyer, but to the disappointment of many people it was not. Swarm is also a really scary villain, and often in comics he reveals his rotting chest when his characteristic bee swarm is killed.
What do you think of these Marvel peculiarities? Are there others you hope to see come from the comics to the big screen in the near future? Sound off in the comments!
