Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers: Television, radio, streaming and more

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s almost time for the Minnesota Vikings to take us on another roller coaster as we are only a few hours from kickoff in their Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers. We want to ensure that everyone is able to follow the whole action, no matter where they are, so we put all this information in one place to facilitate the acquisition.

TV information

Once again, we start things in Charlotte at the best possible time for NFL action to get started, that is dinner Central on Sunday. This game will be broadcast on FOX subsidiaries, meaning KSTP-9 in the Twin Cities, and play-by-play will be handled by Kenny Albert and cheating ass Jonathan Vilma. For those of you who are in doubt as to whether you are in the broadcast area for this one, here is the card from the good folks at 506 Sports. The Vikings / Panthers game is shown in yellow.

If you use your DirecTV Sunday Ticket package to watch this, you will want to target the recipient Channel 708.

For our men and women in uniform abroad, the American Forces Network will broadcast this. . .finally. They’re not showing it live, but rather at a play on AFN Sports 2. (Hey, that’s still more than what we got last week.) Kickoff of the AFN play is scheduled for 0800Z Monday morning, which works out to 0900L on Monday for viewers in Central Europe, 1000L on Monday for all at standard Arabic time, and 1600L on Monday for fans in Japan and Korea.

Radio Info

Again, the Vikings Radio Network and all of its partners will bring you live broadcasts of every Viking battle in 2021. If you’re traveling around an affiliated business, or you just prefer the radio over the television, check out their website and find affiliate in your area.

If you want to use satellite radio, you can get this week’s games from either Sirius channel 133 or XM channel 383. These channels will bring you Vikings Radio Network feed. If you use the Sirius XM app, the Vikings’ permanent home is there Channel 820.

Referee info

From this week’s list at Football Zebras, we can tell you that the team for this week’s game is led by Craig Wrolstad. The Vikings last saw Wrolstad and his crew in October last year as they handled the Vikings’ embarrassing 40-25 loss to the Atlanta Falcons at US Bank Stadium.

Weather information

Hi! A real outdoor game! That means the weather can play a role, but according to the forecast from our friends at WeatherNation, it should be a pretty almost perfect day for football. Kickoff temperatures are expected to be in the lower 60s with a slight warming trend over the afternoon and winds coming from the northwest at around 10 miles per hour.

Streaming Info

Since this is a FOX game, you can watch this on FOX Sports online by logging in with your TV provider’s credentials. You can also get the game on the NFL GamePass, or by checking out a service such as Fubo TV.

As for illegal streaming, I will not elaborate on the point as I usually do. Do not advertise illegal streams here, otherwise you will be banned. Do not walk past “Go”, do not collect $ 200.

Info after the game

After the game we will not offer one but thaw live shows after the game. The Vikings’ report with Drew and Ted will offer their live show with Drew, Ted and Chris while our friends from Climbing in the pocket will also have a live post-game show for your viewing experience. The Vikings Report show will be on their YouTube channel and get a post here with a video, whereas the Climbing the Pocket show will be on their YouTube channel as well as on Daily Norseman FaceBook page.

That should be pretty much all you need to keep up with all the action from the season-opening clash between the Carolina Panthers and your Minnesota Vikings from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. We have open threads for each quarter, with the first one falling about an hour before kickoff, so we hope to see you here!
