Masters of the Universe: Revelation

Netflix is releasing a trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 2 with the debut of the almighty Savage He-Man.

Netflix has released a new trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 2.

The trailer is picked up after the events in Part 1, but perhaps most notable is the confrontation between Skeletor and Prince Adam. After explaining that he does not need his Power Sword to summon Grayskull’s Power, Adam transforms into Savage He-Man.

Savage He-Man is loosely based on the Wun-Dar action character from the Masters of the Universe Classics toy line with a new Epiphany-inspired figure that has recently been announced by Mattel.

“The idea of Savage He-Man is what happens if Adam calls power down without the sword as a channel, as something that controls who he becomes.” MotU: Revelation creator Kevin Smith recently explained FatMan Beyond. “At some point in the show, he calls the power down without the sword and becomes the Savage He-Man.”

Masters of the Universe: Revelation is Smith’s bid for a sequel to the 1980s cartoon. However, Part 1 quickly resulted in setbacks from fans who thought the show was a bait after having He-Man prominent in the trailers and then largely removed him from the equation in the first episode.

“It’s been interesting to see who really is a hardcore fan,” Smith said in July. “Because anyone who says ‘Oh, man, there’s not enough He-Man’ or anything like that, does not understand the program we based it on. There were episodes where he lost his sword and he never became He-Man. was not like He-Man always saved the day. His friends helped him. That was the point of the show. “

“I see people online say, ‘Hey man, they’re getting rid of He-Man!’ Like, you really think Mattel Television, who hired me and paid me money, is going to make a shit The masters of the universe Show without He-Man? “He continued.” Grow up, man. Like, it blew my mind, bunch of people said, ‘Oh, I smell it. This is a bait and switch. ‘”

Masters of the Universe: Revelation – Part 2 coming to Netflix on November 23rd.
