Joe Rogan Rips Cancel Mob Hounding Dave Chappelle: ‘Make Your Own Special’

Comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan slammed the pro-transgender canceled bully protesting Dave Chappelle’s latest Netflix comedy special, The closer, suggesting that instead of protesting, these waking activists should “make your own special” to respond.

“The problem is that when you listen to everyone, you get a certain group of people who want people to no longer be able to work,” Rogan said Tuesday during The Joe Rogan experience podcast. “They want to stop you. They want to pull things down. They want to change what is available. ”

“Here’s the case of Dave Chappelle,” Rogan continued. “He is clearly the most popular comedian on planet earth. He’s number one. He is clearly one of the greatest comedians to have ever lived. ”

“So obviously there are a lot of fucking people who like him and whatnot [the woke mob] wishes is that people do not have access to him. When you have options, you do not like it, but if you want Netflix to take it down and you say it’s hateful, this is the wrong way to do it. ”

Rogan further suggested that these outraged transgender activists make their own comedy special and said, “If you want to make your own special about what was wrong with Dave Chappelle’s special, go for it and good luck to you.”

Rogan also pointed out that it is “dangerous” not to be allowed to make fun of certain ideas.

“These ideas that you can’t make fun of are dangerous,” he said. “They are not good for anyone. They are not good for people who have these ideas – the idea that you can not have fun with any of it is crazy. ”

The host added that if one were to “get down to Dave Chappelle’s real feelings” on specific issues, they would discover that “he is a lovely person. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. “He loves everyone. He is not a hateful soul.”

“He’s just a guy who loves this art form called stand-up comedy, trying to do his best to navigate through this world by talking about things and saying outrageous things that get big laughs, or placing a really sensitive group of those who feel like they are in a protective class, ”Rogan said.

“They equate any joke with hatred, and this is where they make mistakes,” the host added. “His jokes are just that, they are jokes. And if you really pay attention to what he says – whether you agree with him or not – the overall message is by no means transphobic. ”

Chappelles The closer bizarrely unleashed indignation among awakened activists who somehow found the comedian’s jokes offensive. Specials audience score however, the film and TV review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes has a 96 percent positive rating.
