Director
Educational Talent Search
Directs and implements the Talent Search philosophy, goals, and objectives; coordinates and assists in the development, implementation and presentation of project programs and services; administers budget; selects, assigns, trains and directs project staff; acts as liaison with post-secondary school officials, university faculty/staff and community programs and agencies relative to project services; and completes related administrative duties as required.
This position will be housed out of UNI-CUE in Waterloo, but will be directing the Cedar Rapids Community Schools Talent Search program.
Bachelor’s degree plus at least three years of experience administering grant funded programs, budgeting/fiscal management, and working with students from low-income, first generation backgrounds required. Master’s degree in educational administration, public administration, counseling, college student personnel, social services or related field preferred.
