Balch Springs Police Investigate Tuesday’s LBJ Highway Shooting As ‘Possible Road Rage’ – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

BALCH SPRINGS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Balch Springs Police confirm that they are investigating a possible furious incident after one man was found shot in his overturned vehicle on the LBJ Freeway on Tuesday, October 19th.

It happened around 4:40 p.m. near Lake June Road.

After lying in the middle of the highway, he was taken by air ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Detectives have not been able to interview the victim because he underwent surgery and was medicated.

The victim and his son are currently recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.

Shooting on the LBJ Freeway (Chopper 11)

Detectives continue to interview witnesses and gather additional information in an attempt to identify the driver and vehicle that left the scene.
