Knox, who welcomed the child months ago, also shared the only picture of her child she would send.
Amanda Knox revealed that she and her husband Christopher Robinson have welcomed their first child.
In Friday’s episode of their podcast “Labyrinths”, the couple shared the happy news of their daughter Eureka Muse’s arrival, where they explained the early rush to the hospital and fears of losing Eureka after suffering a previous abortion.

The 34-year-old author — who was convicted and subsequently acquitted of the murder of her fellow roommate Meredith Kercher — also took to Instagram to post a snap of her baby girl, saying the photo would be the only one she would share on social media.
“Since my release, I have struggled to regain my identity and protect the people I love from being exploited as tabloid content,” Knox wrote next to the photo. “I know I can not 100% protect my daughter from the kind of treatment I have suffered, but I do the best I can. Therefore, this is the only picture of her I will ever share on social media. I is so grateful to everyone who has wished @emceecarbon and me well on our journey to parenthood. Thank you for believing in us. “
And in a piece in the New York Times that was also published Friday, it was reported that Knox and Robinson have kept the birth a “secret for several months.”
“I’m still nervous about the paparazzi generosity on her head,” Knox told the business about why she had originally kept the news private. “I want to say that I am thrilled not to have to keep pretending does not to be a mother, “she added.” Because it’s like, my brain is just there. “

Knox and Robinson, who have been married since February 2020, revealed that they had suffered an abortion in a July episode of their podcast, where Knox explained how she began to question herself when she heard the tragic news.
“Do I have bad eggs and I just never knew?” she said at the time. “Am I really too old? Did something happen to me while I was in Italy?” If it’s not easy and you do not know why, then everything can be the problem. “
In 2007, while Knox was studying abroad in Perugia, Italy, Kercher, a 21-year-old British exchange student and Knox’s roommate at the time, was found stabbed and sexually assaulted in her bedroom. Knox and her Italian ex-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, were both arrested and charged with the murder. After several years of trying to have the sentence overturned, they were finally upheld in 2015.
Meanwhile, Rudy Guede, the only person still convicted of the murder and assault on Kercher, received permission from the Italian court to complete his sentence with community service in December 2020.
